One of the oldest races in the world, the Melbourne to Ballarat is a handicap from Melbourne (OK, Rockbank) to Ballarat (Buninyong this year).

Being a handicap, you have a fighting chance of permanently putting your name on a winner’s list steeped in Australian cycling folklore.

Tip: It’s a handicap so you will go hard from the gun. You can only warm up with a stationary trainer in the BP car park.

You will need a lift back to Rockbank so feel free to put your hand up if you are not racing and willing to help, or helping another rider and have spare spots in your car.

Location

Rockbank
