The following is an invite for a new invite hosted in NW Victoria. This is not a Hawthorn event, but I think that there may be sufficient interest to warrant posting it here.

We are delighted to invite you to participate in the Blue Pyrenees Magic bike ride 6th November 2016.
Our “Pyrenees Ranges” in North West Victoria is cycling heaven with undulating roads, little traffic and views over vineyards.
Once again our wonderful sponsors are “Blue Pyrenees Estate" vineyard and the event starts and finishes at the vineyard. Think wine, coffee, cake, food. Did I mention the award winning wine?
It’s for charity… profit from this event helps to purchase much needed equipment for our local hospital (Maryborough and District Health Services).
It’s supported with a sag wagon and St John’s First Aiders.
It has a food stop at Landsborough (52km), drink stop at Elmhurst (77km) plus free sausage sizzle and drink at the finish.
It’s great value… Ride to Moonambel and back (46km) $25 or the “Magic” ride 114km ($55).
It has special deals … Ride plus Jersey top plus full bottle of Blue Pyrenees wine add $40 to ticket price … only available for a limited time ..closes 27th September 2016.
It’s not far from Bendigo (103km), Ballarat (78km), Melbourne(190km), Geelong(173km)

After registration, the ride will commence at 9am Sunday 6th November 2016
The “Magic” ride is around the foothills of the Pyrenees Ranges. Cyclists will pedal to Avoca and then head north to Moonambel (25km, toilets), Landsborough(52km,toilets,feed stop), Elmhurst (77km,drink stop), Amphitheatre (92km,toilets), Avoca (105km, toilets) and back to “Blue Pyrenees Estate” (113km,toilets,BBQ or maybe Cafe Blue for a meal).
We request that all entrants check in at registration when they have completed the ride.
The aim is for everyone to ride within their ability and enjoy the day.
Deadline for jersey/bottle of wine offer is 27th September to allow time to manufacture our jersey tops.

FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Children 16 years or younger must be accompanied by a cycling adult. Please note entrants to be 16 years or older for the longer ride 114km.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is no public transport to this event. It is approx 200km NW of Melbourne and 90km West of Bendigo. There is sufficient parking at the vineyard. The preferred carparking is the grassed service area near the vines.

Yes the ticket is transferable. Please remember to bring your ticket and register at the administration marquee prior to 9am. Also we like to know that everyone has arrived back, so please report back to administration when you have completed your ride.
What is the refund policy?
Full refund will be given if we are notified no later than 25/10/2016
Can I enter on the day?
Yes, please add $5 for administration
